Memorable Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I wasn't expecting much from a restaurant located in an industrial park, but it just shows how wrong first impressions can be. I'm a vicious critic of food and wine and the only negative thing I can conjure from a three-hour sitting is the wonderfully thin slices of duck could have used a hint of tarragon. I guess this means I can only rate it as 98-99 out of 100. Excellent staff, wonderful wine selection, and the new chef has a passion for creating menus from local produce. Verdicchio would hold its own with the finest restaurants in northern Italy, to say nothing about Montreal or Toronto. --Value is always subjective. Atmosphere is rated only for the interior. Service rating is based on what I saw for other tables (as a travel writer I received special attention). I have a passion for food and wine, the Slow Foods movement, and Italy: my rating is based on the sampler plate (recommended) and a serving of octopus. No, I didn't order a pasta! Absolutely excellent wine cellar(s) and mating of wines with the food being served. --Ken Aiken, Natural Traveler. Great Italian Food Service ,hosts etc- Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere THIS GREAT RISTORANTE VERDICCHIO, besides excellent sfood ,hosts etc, even had Canada's Hottest Young new tenors perform at a special Dinner we had also attented, we would love to see them there againat a dinner, We had also seen Joey Niceforo, Paul, Leon on stage in Sudbury great talent and voices-Wow !!! Restaurante Verdiccios Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I would rate Restaurante Verdiccios Sudbury , one of the Best Italain retaurants, Rated excellent,,OWNERS STAFF VERY COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY, We also had a GREAT EVENING WITH, DINNIER WITH THE STARS, featuring local Tenor Joey Niceforo, with the great 3 DESTINO tenors www.destinotenors.com We also hope to see them back at DINNER WITH THE STARS EVEING at VErdiccios.
